Further, it is also required for the applicant to provide details as to how each claim is patentable over the searched prior art.

When an applicant files a patent application under Accelerated Examination Program, the USPTO’s Accelerated Examination Program requires the applicant to produce a pre-examination search document and provide support documents along with the patent application and a petition. An applicant going through this route receives the examiner’s final decision within 12 months from the filing date of the patent application.
